There’s so much to do in San Juan, Puerto Rico, from salsa dancing to boutique shopping in Old San Juan. Don’t miss a walking tour of Castillo Felipe del Morro or Castillo San Cristobal, where you’ll be immersed in the history of Puerto Rico. Try delicacies like mofongo, or sample rum from the local distilleries. If you have time, head further inland to El Yunque National Forest, a tropical jungle perfect for on-foot exploration.

In Philipsburg, St. Maarten, snorkeling at Great Bay Beach or Maho Beach are must-do activities. Explore Fort Amsterdam to soak up the history of Dutch influence on the island, or go shopping in the stylish boutiques along Marina Royale in Marigot.

In St. Thomas, snorkel enthusiasts and sailors from all over love the experience of Magens Bay, a half-moon-shaped bay featuring the bluest Caribbean waters you can imagine. Looking for a quick workout during your cruise vacation? Climb the 99 steps, a quintessential Charlotte Amalie experience.

There are dozens of islands making up what we now call the British Virgin Islands, but Tortola is one of the most popular for travelers and a great destination for water lovers. Snorkel the coral reefs at Smuggler’s Cove or surf at Apple Bay. On the eastern side of Tortola, you’ll discover dramatic views from Lambert Beach.

One of Tortola’s best-known attractions are the Virgin Gorda Baths, tranquil pools formed from volcanic eruptions. Take a dip in the crystal-clear waters or tour the ancient grottos during your Eastern Caribbean cruise.

In Nassau, head to Atlantis, Paradise Island, an inclusive resort featuring a water park where all ages can play and swim. You can also meet rescued bottlenose dolphins at nearby Dolphin Cay, which is a sanctuary for sea lions and other marine life, too.

Go shopping at the famous Straw Market for hats and artisan goods crafted by locals vendors. Go swimming at Cable Beach, or venture less than an hour beyond the island to Rainbow Reef, one of the biggest coral reef structures in the Caribbean.

Our 10-night sailings departing from Tampa include a stop in the beautiful Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic. Explore Fortaleza San Felipe, a 16th-century Spanish fort, or take a day trip to the 27 Waterfalls, also called the “Damajaqua Cascades,” a cluster of waterfalls offering incredible hiking and swimming.
