Paradise Vietnam x Le Thanh Hoa: The Oriental Sun cruise

Paradise Vietnam’s pioneering spirit was on full display April 20 when its newest cruise ship, Paradise Elegance, served as stage for Halong Bay’s first-ever floating fashion show.

The unprecedented event was orchestrated by renowned Vietnamese clothes designer Le Thanh Hoa and took place during sundown on the sundeck of Paradise Elegance 2, one of two 200-ton steel vessels Paradise launched last year.

“The Oriental Sun” cruise began at noon, when the Paradise Elegance embarked on a journey cruising the thousands of limestone karsts that define UNESCO World Heritage site Halong Bay.

At sun down, L’Odyssee sundeck was turned into a runway, showcasing Hoa’s summer collection. The show entailed 30 to 45 looks presented by 15 Vietnamese models.
